Building stronger communities
ROCC (Resilience to Organised Crime in Communities) brings government agencies, iwi and communities together to reduce harm and strengthen local resilience.
ROCC is about backing communities to look after their own
Local, community-led responses shaped by the people who know their community best.
Partnerships with iwi, community organisations, and local leaders to understand what's really driving harm in their area, and to address it together.
Practical, everyday support — youth mentoring, help for people leaving prison to reintegrate, whānau support services, pathways out of gangs, and support for people affected by methamphetamine.
A long-term focus on building stronger, more connected communities so organised crime has less room to take hold.
